For Christmas I made these. One for each boy. All the fabric was from my stash (yes, it's large). I used batting pieces I had from previous quilts and pieced them. I also tried out some new quilting techniques. Jack's has pebble quilting and it DOES take a lot of thread and a long time like everyone says. But it looks so cool and it's hard to mess up. I should have made the C and the J with darker fabric for more of a contrast, but whatever, it was a learning curve. Other than that I like how they turned out. And they all loved them on Christmas morning.

It appears that you've been rather busy. Beautiful pillows Leigh! Those boys are lucky to have such a wonderful mama :)
I love those! And they look nice and squishy - perfect for snuggling up with.
what a great idea!!! Good job mom!
Those are really cute. I like them all.
How are you so great??!! I will pay you to make some of those!
Amazing. I love them!
those turned out really well. Hopefully they'll look all crisp and clean for at least a few weeks. I can see Grant wiping his nose all over one.
You are so creative it makes me want to throw up! :) They are SOOOO cute!
I love these! I especially love how they go together but are not identical. Kind of like brothers, I guess.
I've never done pebble quilting--are you constantly stopping and cutting the thread or what? I think the last time I quilted anything I stippled it and, as I said, that was the LAST time I quilted anything. Well done on the pillows.
