maybe . . .

I love to do girl hair. Just ask my 3 sisters and all their friends I made sit in the "beauty parlor" seats at the 80s bar in our house growing up. I begged them all the time to do braids mostly.

Our little friend Annie came over last week and I begged her to let me braid her hair.

Kate just posted a link to this blog. (I'm already wondering how many other little girl hairdo blogs there might be!)

And that is why I might need to try for a girl (or adopt one.)

I remember all those cool braids you used to do in my hair. Once I went to Author Day at Mead High School (in the 4th grade) The braid was in the shape of an S. I got so many compliments.

You can braid Katie's hair anytime. She would love it.

I'd heard about that same hair website from some moms in my ward; so much fun! Zoe has very thick, long hair and it will be great to try some of those out. But I'm not good at making french braids turn out smooth. If you're ever in town I'll let you fix my girls' hair to your heart's content :)

Leigh, that's fun what you did with your little friend's hair :) I love that website, too! Makes me want to have some girls :) I actually sent it to lots of moms I know and the link to your website, too. So if you get random comments from women you don't know, I might know them.

If only Kate would let me play with her hair and do fun things. Crying and screaming isn't worth it to me most of the time, so it's usually down with a flower in it. So don't let your fantasy of getting to do a daughter's hair get to you. They do have opinions about how they want it done. They are fun and you definately need one!

I also love braiding hair. I often do my own, and I am almost positive I won't have any girls to do it on and I will also beg neighbors to let me practice on them.
when are we hanging out again BTW?

Leigh, good job. I didn't think about girl's hair blogs. I definitely will be checkin' that out. I'm always looking for a new hairdo for my girls. They actually don't like when I do their hair. It's not a time I look forward to everyday. I do think you need one girl. They are fun but very EMOTIONAL!
