This (a video) is why I watch So You Think You Can Dance. We have watched this 25 times already and it's still not getting old. My favorites are the robot guy at the beginning and the hand spinning guy at the end. So cool! Makes me wish I could dance. And I love the version of Yellow too. Watch it. (Sorry - I couldn't embed it on here.)

I have a cold

Not a man cold, mind you, just a regular old cold. But I hate it.

p.s. Dan doesn't act much like this man when he has a cold. He just sleeps and ignores everyone.

education

I'm not for scare tactics, and I think this video is pretty good at not scaring you (until the end). Anyway, it is a good education on what to do when a pan catches fire in your kitchen. This happened to me a little while ago and I had no clue what to do. (Luckily it wasn't an oil fire and I knew I shouldn't pour water on it anyway.)Thanks Carrie, for sending the video.

I forgot that last week I found out that Flight of the Conchords was supposed to be here in a few months for a closed show. I tried to send them an email telling them to put on a show for everyone, but I had the wrong email address and it didn't work. They actually came last week and I'm so sad I didn't get to see them. Here's another video, just to make me feel better.

falling slowly

I didn't watch the Oscars last night (except the very end) but I hear that Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova won for Falling Slowly in the movie Once. I loved the movie and the song (it was playing on my valentines mix over on the side there). And the speeches were very cute.

It's been a not so great day today. At one point Charlie and Luke were both in bed screaming. I needed a little break so I tried to block them both out (impossible) and sat down to watch a little Martha. What really made it great was this icecream (which I got for my birthday last week from my lovely RS pres. Holly.) YUM.

And for the other slump towards the end of the day this was just what I needed. It's really bad, and you probably won't be able to watch the whole thing. Dan sent it just at the right time.
