The kitchen still isn't technically finished, there are a few very small odds and ends, but I've started putting things away and cooking, so it's been a great week!

It looks great Leigh!
oh man, it looks fantastic. I'm totally impressed (but not suprised) by your remodeling abilities.
Holy cow! What an amazing transformation. Beautiful!!!
Leigh, it looks so good! I'm really impressed. I'm amazed at your diligence. That's a huge project.
Wow Leigh!!!!!!!!!What a fantastic job you have done. I can't believe that you have gotten all this done in such a short time.
I'm glad that you put the before and after pics on here so that we can remember the difference.
Will you come work on my house next?

I may get this right soon.
You gave yourself so much more cabinet space...I'm so jealous. And I don't blame your for putting doors on the cabinets, so you don't have to worry about tidying up what's in there.
Anyway, it really looks fantastic. And I love the subway tiles. ..
It looks amazing. I was wondering if you would close off that second entry way. I bet you are loving life with a kitchen again. So what's your next project....lol
looks fabulous! so fresh + clean...doesn't get much better than that.
Oh my gosh Leigh, it's so beautiful!! I am so impressed! But not surprised, given your history of taking on projects and being super talented! Way to have the foresight to take all of those "before" pictures from every angle. These before&after shots seriously belong in a magazine!
WOW LEIGH!! That is a beautiful kitchen! GREAT JOB!! I love how you utilized the space. You are awesome! I can't wait to see it in real life!
thank so much for all of the comments! you are all so nice to comment. this has been SUCH a long (and stressful) process and getting oohs and ahs is just what i need!
Leigh that is awesome. Congratulations on getting it done. It looks really great. Thanks for sharing the before and after shots.
It looks great! I love it!
It does look great. Did you finish the ceiling? I can't tell from the pictures. There isn't trim, so I'm thinking you must have. I am glad you are done....take a break and enjoy cooking for awhile.
Leigh I just saw your blog page after quite awhile and i am amazed at your energy and the beautiful creation you have formed--wow I love the kitchen! Now you better get some cooking done for all those other beautiful creations you have made (kids!)
It's beautiful! It looks so much bigger now!
hey, so, 17 comments, huh? wow! that's amazing. and so is the kitchen. i love how it looks and i love the food i get that gets cooked in there ;)
Hi Leigh...I found your blog on Sara's and have really enjoyed it and seeing what you are up to. Your boys are adorable! I really enjoyed all of the funny comments you have on the side! Anyway, you did a great job with your kitchen. It is so neat to see all of the pictures! Oh...I always like the music you have on your blog, too.
For one thing--have you ever had more comments than this?
The after pictures are awesome. I love how in the before picture, the table is really messy and in the after picture its totally cleared off.
The kitchen looks so much better just by the fact that your cupboards have doors--it looks beautiful.
It looks SO great - like it's right out of a magazine!
Wonderful.
way to tough it out to make it happen.
Leigh, you should redo more parts of your house! It makes people stalk your blog, lol.
It looks awesome!! I think it's interesting - your kitchen is at opposite ends of the spectrum in the before and after pictures and to top it off, you've flipped the white/blue paint. Does that make sense? The blue was on the bottom first and now it's on top - like your kitchen is opposite of how it was now... Am I mumbo-jumbo or what?
I thought I had already posted on this blog as I have looked at your before and after pics a dozen times or so. I love it. Glorious. It's like watching an episode of something on HGTV without having to go "Why did they choose those tiles?" or what have you. You have impeccable taste.
