sewing again!

I finally got my sewing machine back out (after many months in the closet) and decided to make a few projects. One of them I've already taken apart because I hated it. I'll start it again later. The other one was a pillow case to match the quilt I made for Katie. I took an applique class in the spring and decided to applique the hardest shapes possible (I didn't know that at the time). Luckily you can't tell where I messed up unless you look closely.
