You know how I mentioned that ornament exchange? The one where I made the penguins? Well, so far I've received about 5 or 6 (of 10) ornaments and I just got this one in the mail.
Really? I have no words for this. I am seriously offended that someone would spend the time to make it and then send it to an actual person.

Hmmm, interesting ornament . . .
I'm assuming it was made by someone yo don't know?
liz
what is it????????
ang - i guess it's an angel?
liz - you are correct in assuming i didn't know this person.
no words.
Ummm... I'm not sure what they were going for with this. The strange thing is that it does appear to have taken some effort to create, so this person must just have very strange taste!
Absolutely bizarre.
no.
um, so I gather it's an angel, but what the eff is that "stuff" inside it? barkdust? potpourri? mulch?
You can add it to your collection of white elephant gifts!
nance - you make me laugh. out loud. i think the stuff inside is potpourri, but it doesn't smell (pleasant or unpleasant).
Hey!! I made that!! How cool that my cousin got it!! Meanwhile, I got this really cute little penguin......
...
don't you like it...?
....
I hope you know how joking I am!!
I think that is so funny! Anyhow, I wanted to tell you that your banner, and your house are SO cute. I don't konw how you do it all! Don't stress and have a Merry Christmas!!
Ya- I suppose it is cute to let your kids help. Oh wait, until they produce crap like this. If little foreign kids in sweat shops can make me amazing 18 pointed-star-bejeweled- ornaments that look like they were crafted for museums, then there is really no excuse for this thing. I can't believe this grinch got one of your penguins.
I think it is a bird feeder. No, I'm serious. On that level, it's kind of cute.
