yahoo confirmed!

My doc called today and told me that no, I will not have to do radioiodine for sure! As far as I know I'm cancer free and will just have to be monitored forever. I'm also excited because I get to start real thyroid meds tomorrow morning (not the temporary stuff.) Which means I should be back to my old self in no time! YAY! Thanks so much to all of you for so much support :)

Wow Leigh. I just realized I hadn't been on your blog in a long time. I'm glad things have worked out with your Thyroid cancer. So scary, my prayers are with you. Good luck with everything.

Hi! I found your blog cuz you're in the flickr 6X3 Bee and you made such a cute wonky star quilt top, I decided to look you up! :)

Your thyroid post caught my attention because I just had a biopsy done a couple weeks ago. Yuck!! I have a couple cysts on my thyroid, but all is well. My thyroid functions normal too, so no meds. I'm really glad all is well with you and that you are on your way to feeling better. Yay for you!

I also noticed you have 4 boys! It made me smile because I also have 4 boys, but just got a baby girl 9 months ago. (her brothers call her Queen Ava). So, I totally get the BOY life. Legos and underwear! hehe.

Very cute blog! Sorry for the long post! :)
