a visitor

After all the sanding was done on the walls, something made these tracks in all the dust. I'm guessing it was an ant, but maybe it was something a lot more exciting . . .

You think an ant? Really? Ants don't typically leave tracks, do they? Aside from the trail of dead ones that die along the way? It reminds me of trails that snails leave. I'm sure it wasn't because he'd have been in a saw-dusty heap in the middle, still, but just saying....

i don't think ant either. ants usually take a more direct path

but they don't take a direct path when they're scouting around. maybe it wasn't an ant, but it was a very small pathway. we have seen these little tiny black beetle like guys, maybe it was one of them. whatever it was, i would have like to seen it all covered with white dust.
