to get my mind off things. it is pink. i've never made anything pink. who knows who it's for, maybe me, maybe a future baby (maybe mine, maybe someone else's). for now i'm making it and that's all i care about. i love how it's turning out!

Hey, I started up a cross stitch that I have neglected for a few years. I tell you this because I'm so sure that you're so thrilled with my mundane sewing news, lol. It really is cute, though. I will have to show you in 3 years when I'm done with it. It's of these 6 pudgy birdies on a limb. I wanted to finish it for a nursery when I bought it and I'm running out of time!
(We found out that it's a boy, btw :) We're thinking of naming him either Charlie, Sam or Jack. What do you think? We were thinking about Luke but that is my new little nephew's name.. so... heheh...)
